Nursery Story hosts a selection of Learning Frameworks that you can run your Early Years setting with. Set your learning Frameworks to be visible within both EYFS observations and Reports.

Step 1 - Navigate to Settings

Step 2 - Select Learning Frameworks

Step 3 - Toggle on or off your chosen Learning Frameworks. Options include:

  1. Development Matters 2012

  2. Development Matters 2021

  3. Birth to 5 Matters

Tips & Hints

When choosing Learning Frameworks, know that you can have multiple active at any time. You can monitor different children from different frameworks across any group observation. Not All frameworks run off the same monitoring titles and will generate separate reports. They are broken down into:

  1. Development Matters 2021

  2. Development Matters 2021 + Birth to 5 Matters

Monitoring Titles

Monitoring children's learning and development is a personal journey and we understand that every setting does it a bit differently.

We have given the choice to customise your settings and to choose how you wish to monitor a child

By Default your monitoring title will be set to 4 options, but you have the choice to toggle these on and off

Monitoring titles are then found as part of a L&D Observation:

And again make up the Monitoring Report:

Updating your monitoring titles

To update your monitoring titles:

  1. Edit - Update the name and colour of each monitoring title to best represent your preferences

  2. Toggle On/Off - Customise the number of monitoring titles to monitor children against. Simply toggle them on and off with ease
