Creating a Closed Day

Updated yesterday

Closed days are dates when your setting is not open (no bookings or attendance). Use them for things like:

  • Bank Holidays

  • Staff training (INSET)

  • Personal closed days or unexpected closures

Note: Closed days are different from term/holiday blocks. Term/holiday blocks are labels only; Closed days actually stop bookings and show as Closed on registers.

FAQs

Can I add multiple Closed day ranges at once?
Add them one at a time (e.g., each bank holiday or a single multi-day range for Christmas).

What if I’m open for part of a day?
Keep the day open and use Sessions to reflect shorter hours. Only use a Closed day if you’re not open at all.
