Introduction

Closed days are what can be used to log days that you wish to close your Early Years setting on any days unrelated to your term time schedules. These might be:

  • Bank Holidays

  • Staff Training Days

  • Or any other reason you are required to close off the day

How-To Video

Adding a Closed Day

The first step is to navigate to the Attendance Calendar from the Settings Overview page

Navigate to: Settings > Attendance Calendar

To add a closed day:

Step 1 - Select '+ Add Closed Days'

Step 2 - Select the Date Range, this can be 1 day or a full date range

Step 3 - Select Closed Day Type

Step 4 - Add Note

Once added to an Academic year, Closed Days will be visible within the month's view

You may select a Closed Day directly from the Attendance Calendar to preview the details.

Here you are able to:

  • Edit - Update any details of the closed day

  • Delete - Remove the closed day and re-open your setting that day

  • Close - exit out of the preview
