Creating an Extra

What Are Extras?

Extras allow you to charge for anything outside of a child’s usual booking pattern.

They’re completely flexible and can include things like:

  • Meals or snacks

  • Nappies

  • Classes (e.g. Spanish, yoga)

  • Day trips or special events

Once created, Extras can be added to booking plans just like sessions.

How to Create an Extra

  1. Go to: Finance > Settings > Extras

  2. Click ➕ Add Extra Purchase

  3. Complete the following fields:

    • Name – e.g. “Hot Lunch”, “Spanish Class”

    • Colour – used to show the extra on the booking calendar

    • Price – set as a one-off fee

  4. Click Save

Managing Extras

After saving, you’ll see your Extra listed in the Extras Manager.

From here, you can:

  • Review details (name, colour, price)

  • Edit or deactivate if needed

  • Apply Extras to a child’s booking plan

💡 Tip: Extras show up alongside sessions in the child’s calendar, making invoices and reports simple and clear.
