How-To Video

Step 1 - Start on the 'Home' page

Step 2 - Select the child/children you are wanting to record the 'Nap' activity for. They will be highlighted in blue when selected. The total number of children selected is displayed.

Step 3 - From the activity tab, Select 'Nap'

Step 4 - Set the Date and time. By default, this is set to the current time but you can backdate your work.

Author - This is automatically set to the active user. To change author, you must sign in as a different user OR Admin users have the ability to update the Author.

Step 5 - Set the 'Nap Start Time'. You have two options available:

  1. 'This nap has already ended' - Log a nap that has already happened

  2. Now - Children are asleep and you are logging the nap in real-time

Option 1. 'This nap has already ended'

Here you are prompted to enter a start and end time. Select using the dropdown options.

Enter a generic description for all children, add a photo and video If appropriate, hit 'Submit' to log a nap in real-time.

The 'Nap' activity is shared onto the 'Feed'.

Option 2. Nap Start Time - Now

This is the default option. Enter a generic description for all children, add a photo and video If appropriate, hit 'Submit' to log a nap in real-time.

Children who are actively asleep in the system will be visible on the Home page with a Zzz status icon on their profile picture, as shown here.

Step 6 - When the child wakes you will press on their image from the home screen, their box will turn blue and select the Nap option in New Activity and will show 'End Nap'

To perform a quick wakeup, simply end nap directly from the homepage. Select the sleeping child, then re-select Nap

You can now see the status icon has disappeared from the child's profile and they are no longer in 'Nap' mode.

Step 7 - Navigate to the 'Feed'

Step 8 - When viewing a Nap activity, the child's nap time will update in real-time in the system and inform staff of whether they are still asleep, or how long they slept for.

Adding an Activity - Method 2

You can also add an activity directly from the Feed.
