Updating a child's profile

Internal notes on children can be stored in 'Other Information' from within a child's profile.

Setting a child's Sex

Step 1 - Select My Nursery > Children on the left-hand navigation bar

Step 2 - Select the child that you are looking to update and choose the appropriate option from below.

Step 3 - Once complete, select 'Saved changes'

Setting the Date of Birth (DOB)

Step 1 - Press the 'Calendar' button to bring up the full calendar and select the birthdate of the child.

Step 2 - Select the year in the bottom-left corner

Step 3 - Select the correct year

Step 4 - Select the date and then hit 'Done'

Step 5 - Make sure that the DOB has been updated

Step 6 - Once confirmed, select 'Saved changes'

All basic information for your child is complete. *

*Note - Basic information along with profile pictures can be requested to be updated by parents associated with the child profile.

Other Information

Step 1 - Select 'Children' on the left-hand navigation bar.

Step 2 - Select the child you are interested in storing information on.

'Other information' stored on a child profile is internal notes visible only to you as staff. Information has been broken down into:

- Allergies

- Medication

- Dietary

- Safe Passphrase

Example: You have a child who has an allergy to milk, or wheat, or any number of other things. The milk causes this child to have an epi-pen. You would have notes set as;

Step 5 - The final section is on 'Safe passphrase' this is a word or a phrase that approved people may use, perhaps on collection for example. This can be entered once decided by the family and confirmed when the child has started. It can also be changed should there be a need to.

Step 6 - Once complete, select 'Saved changes'
