Create your academic year and term dates so registers, bookings and invoices line up with how you work.
It’s best to set this before a new academic year starts.

What it does
Defines your academic year (start/end dates)
Sets term dates and holidays/closure days used across the app (registers, bookings, invoices, reports)
How to set it up
Create an academic year
Click Add year, choose the start and end dates, then Save.Add term dates
For each term, click Add term, enter the term name (e.g., Autumn Term), set start/end dates, Save.
Repeat for Spring/Summer (add half-terms if you track them).Add closure days
Click Add closure for bank holidays, training days (INSET), or planned breaks.Review & confirm
Check the overview—terms and closures should cover the whole year with no overlaps.
Editing later
You can update future dates any time.
If you change dates mid-year, review affected bookings/invoices so they still match your plan.
