Checklist - Before Creating a Booking Plan

Checklist to prepare each child’s profile for booking plans: add DOB, room, and contact to avoid errors and enable invoicing.

Before you can start creating Booking Plans in the new system, there are a few things that must be in place for each child. Here’s a quick checklist to make sure you’re ready to go.


Ready to Plan? Do These 3 Things First

1. Date of Birth

We use this to apply the correct session pricing.
💡 If missing: you won’t be able to add any sessions.

2. Main Room Assigned

This links bookings to attendance and pre-fills the room for each session.
💡 If missing: session details won’t populate properly.

3. At Least One Contact Added

You’ll need a parent or contact assigned to generate invoices.
💡 If missing: invoicing won’t sync to the parent app.


What If Something's Missing?

The system will flag missing details directly in the Booking Plans tab — e.g. “Add a main room to continue.”
You won’t be able to complete the plan until all three fields are filled.


💡 Tip for Smooth Migration

  • Most existing children will already have these filled in - but double-check just in case.

  • For new children, make these 3 steps part of your onboarding process.

  • Open any child’s profile and head to the Booking Plans ✨ tab to check — we’ll show you exactly what’s missing.

Once all fields are complete, you’re ready to create your first plan!
